I wanted this as a middle of the living room toy to distract my kitten from climbing up on certain places but instead it’s helping him get up there since it needs to be leaned against something for it to be more stable.

Good little scratcher. Nothing super fancy but gets the job done! Comes with 4 bell toys that my cat really loves! Pretty easy to move the scratch pads around if your cat destroys one faster than the rest. Should be able to get some good life out of this kit!

We have 3 cats and they all love this scratcher! It was easy to put together, my 13 year old did it himself. It is well made with quality materials. The cats love to scratch it and lay inside of it. The cat nip that comes with it helped attract them to this scratcher instead of my chair. This is a great cat scratcher at a reasonable price!

I purchased (2) of these for my four cats to share. As my husband is putting them, he tells me that they won’t last because they are “chincy” !! He then held up the corrugated scratching boards and I could see right through them, so much so that I could watch TV if they were in front of me (not) “” blocking the view””What a waste of our $56.00 dollars!!!!!!!!!

So, I got this scratcher on black Friday sale. It is TOTALLY worth the $23 I paid for it. However, there is no way I would pay full price $35. It is 3 cardboard scratching boards screwed together with basically drywall anchors. The "wood" frame, is maybe 1/4" plywood or something. I guess time will tell regarding durability. The dangling toy balls are typical plastic jingle balls. However, the string (and I do mean string) holding them on, I'll be surprised if it holds up to a single kitten. Lastly, the instructions were a joke (and not even for the right item, lol). That being said, the cats were immediately intrigued and seem to like it. So, for $23, I say do it. At $35, that's totally your call.
