Your cart is empty.The soft custom durometer used in the “EuroDamper” rings physically dampens vibrations caused by speaker vibration in combo amps. This greatly reduces or in most cases eliminates tube rattle. These are also great for reducing mechanical noise in Hifi amps. The small “EuroDamper” rings measure .700” (17.75mm) inside diameter for a snug fit on 12AX7, 12AT7, 12AU7, etc preamp tubes and EL84 and EL844 power tubes. The OD measures 1.35” (34.29mm) and the thickness measures .375” (9.25mm). These are also available in a larger size for power tubes such as EL34, KT77, 6L6, 6L6GC, 5881 and octal based rectifier tubes.

I put these on a pair of EL84 tubes in a Vox AC10. Combo amps are murder on these tubes. These should help keep microphonics down.

I have some effects with exposed tubes and I bought these to offer some protection and to minimize microphonics when using them in high volume situations. These do the job and don’t emit any odor when they get warm from the tube like some tube rings do.

My amp had a gnarly rattle at certain frequencies that I isolated to the El84 tube nearest the driver. I put these on and the rattle is gone! I was worried the tubes were bad or something. Needless to say, I am thrilled with this product!

Short story. Small 5 watt head with a single 12ax7 and el84 tube. Sits on top of a 112 cabinet.The el84 rings like an old broken light bulb within a week of replacement. Drove me nuts over years.Purchased "Eurodamper" based on forums recommendation. The tube i used it on was ringing just handling it. Little effort to get on. I put it near the top. Old ringing tube is now dead quiet. Very happy.

Did nothing to silence the tube rattle in a Marshall combo and seemed to affect tone. They quickly came out.

Not sure about every output tube rattle problem, but these really stopped the rattle in the combo amp. Very hard to put on 6L6 type as they seem to be sized for EL-34, but once on and finding the best location - these tubes liked it in the middle of the tube, others may be different. I had tried a lot of other products - Red Silicone rings as well as rubber (the heat will eventually destroy simple black rubber) but none worked, a waste of money, but these rings DO WORK. The only ones I recommend. Had another customer try them on his Mesa output tubes (Mesa output tubes ALL will rattle eventually when used in combo amps) and they worked for him also. Finally found a solution to the problem.

I bought a pair of these for my Laney Cub12r. I was having rattling issues, specially in some frequencies (G string on 9 fret, 4 string on 5th fret) and this fixed my problem. No joke, buy it!
