Works great. I put it on the floor of my wood fired sauna for extra safety. I think it's funny when people post that a CO detector doesn't work because they hold it up to their car exhaust and it doesn't show anything. Modern cars with catalytic converters often don't emit any CO. Hold it up to the exhaust of your lawn mower or snowblower.

I like that this is compact but easy to see the information on the screen. I did check that this would alarm while using my diesel heater by having this CO detector on and in the path of the diesel heater exhaust. I could see the CO level start to raise and then ultimately alarm. This did happen fairly quick when checking it. I also like it has a temperature indication.

Tried this out at home and seemed to work. First night on the trip to Mexico that I had purchased it for, it says ‘calibrate’ and does not work. The return window is closed. Lowest can choose is one star.
