It was the only non metal screw that I could find that we could use as the handle for a glass microwave cover dish. Just noticed this weekend that after 4 months of use, the plastic is beginning to melt for daily microwave use.

These work well and the threads have a decently tight tolerance when screwed through nuts or threads.

Purchased this product and the wing nuts to match. I am using them in my fish tank for the wet/dry systems return baskets. It works perfectly. Worth the money

Just like the originals that came with my R/C glider, these are used to attach the glider’s wings to the fuselage. In case of an imperfect landing, they sheer off (and these nylon bolts are much less costly than new wings or fuselage!)
