We stock many grades of fasteners ranging from low carbon steel on up to hardened, heat treated steel. Not all fasteners are applicable for all applications so be certain to test thouroughly and get the opinion of a licensed building or certified building or structural engineer before relying on these fasteners for any situations where failure would result in damage to property or person.

The Expandet nylon anchors are pricey so I use them only when I drill a hole that a cheaper anchor doesn't grab (spins in place) or when the screw I want to use doesn't fit exactly the cheap anchor. The shape of the anchor prevents it from spinning in the drilled hole. The anchors come in 4 cubes of 25. Each cube is held together with a plastic band which has two holes to simplify finding the correct diameter drill bit and screw (see pictures). These anchors can also easily be cut to the desired length. The white Expandet anchors are marked for a drill hole of 5mm or 3/16" and for screw sizes 4-5-6 (3mm to 3.5mm).These anchors are made in Denmark. I gave the product only 4 stars because of the price.
