I ordered this gas valve in March,2023 and received a different model 36J54-238 (0151M00027SK). I was told the received one was a new model to replace the old model. So I installed the received gas valve in April, it worked for a few months. Unfortunately it failed October 2, 2023. I asked the seller about the warranty for this gas valve. The seller answers: No warranty, and the seller says: "When you purchase the part online for a fraction of the cost and when a qualified HVAC or Appliance Tech is not installing the part then the warranty options are simply not available. "

I've ordered two, and both times they ship a substitute... But it functions as advertised. Make sure your pressure sensors are good before replacing this. A faulty pressure sensor can look like a failed valve, but is much less expensive to fix. Also no need to modify the hi/lo dials. It works out of the box.
