I don't know what the difference is between this and ordinary thread cutting oil, but my el cheapo manual ratcheting pipe threader actually produces a useable threaded end on rigid electrical conduit. With ordinary thread cutting oil, the pipe would end up turning on the vice, and the end of the pipe would become warped with flattened sides, e.g triangular. With this oil, that doesn't happen, as long as oil is applied when it starts to catch, and the die is backed off to clear chips out often enough.
