Read the specs well!!You cannot get a piece of 1" work between the hard jaw and the swivel face. I assumed 1" meant the actual opening.Other than that they are very well made, well finished, and seem very sturdy.

I love my C-Clamps, but when I got them I had to rub the rust off and re-oil them to be usable. But they are great quality.
