At first it seemed to have a hard time slicing the butter unless I set it out for about 10 minutes before using it. But now I found that if I do an initial slice before I drop in the pusher it works like a champ no matter how cold it is. I went from disappointed to very satisfied in its operation.

This product is not at all what I expected, first of all it does not fit a regular cube of butter and you have to cut the cube down to fit. Butter does not come down easily to be sliced, you might as well cut it yourself for less mess. Hate it!!!!! Can't return them now because they were used and butter is stuck inside! Unbelievable!

This product does not work and a regular stick of butter doesn't fit in it. Amazon should refuse to sell this product.

Kind of small for a regular butter cube, The idea is good just not working well. Had to trim the butter stick most likely not going to do that again.
