The picture is deceiving. Read closely it doesn’t come with a stand.

It's got a screw hole at the bottom for attaching to a stand, but I usually hit it at my coffee table. It's not loud, it's got a nice bounce to it, good for practice. The top bit having slightly less bounce is decent for practicing different rolls.I moved recently and it was quite easy to transport, not heavy. If you're serious about getting better at drums and live in an apartment or with roommates and want to practice during quiet hours, this works great.Decent build quality, rubber is thick, bouncy, feels natural.

We got this so out son can practice drums without the whole neighborhood hating us. It's is just the pad no connection stand or anything like that but he says it's a good practice drum pad

Good bounce. Heavy construction. Has threads to mount on cymbal stand.

This pad has several nice features: dual surface, soft rubber ring on underside--for placing on table or coffee table without slipping around--a threaded receptacle for use on cymbal stand or practice pad stand, and a well-finished wood core. made well. The dual surface felt more like snare/hi-hat or ride cymbal, but the two feels obviously can simulate snare and other drum surface (tom tom.) I use heavier sticks on practice pads, which then make my hands fly, when I'm on the actual drums with my regular sticks. The rebound will feel different for different people, depending upon how you tension your actual drum heads.Drum pads are more the same than different, as long as they are made well, but this one stands with any other quality pad. After you unpack it, put it outside, or in the garage for a day, in that all rubber gives off a mild odor at first.

First off, I've only ever played on mesh head edrums, so I have 0 recent experience with acoustic drum heads -- including haptics & rebound. That being said, this drum pad is pretty fun! The black rubber portion (snare) is very bouncy and provides a high level of rebound. This makes doubles & triples so much easier for me. The black rubber is also quite resilient and doesn't feel "cheap", like my other practice pad.The orange portion (tom) is much harder, almost hard-plastic feeling/sounding, which has much less rebound than the black portion. I really like this feature as it allows a distinct audible difference when striking. The base is well made with smoothly beveled edges and a nice finish. The underside contains a thin layer of softer rubber, I assume to prevent damage to whatever I place the pad upon, including my actual snare drum. The bottom rubber also provided some "stickyness" while I used it on a high gloss table. The weight is decent for the size but can certanly be felt while carrying this around in my backpack. The only concerns I have:1. The metal stand mount on the underside appears to be rusting, or just severely discolored.2. I can also see that one of the mount plate screw heads is badly stripped so if I needed to replace this part it's going to require a screw extractor bit. To that point, the item seemed as if it had been used, there were indents, almost cuts, on the bottom rubber pad, not so bad as to cause tearing (yet), but something to keep an eye on.All in all, I'm enjoying this practice pad and intend to continue using it daily!

The pad itself seems well-built and it has a realistic stick bounce. While the orange surface is firm and dense producing a higher pitch tone, the black surface is relatively softer. It is easy to mount this on an M8 treaded boom arm or hold it within a snare stand.Although this is advertised as a 10" pad, it feels more like a 12" due to the design. I do like to use the wooden edges as the 3rd percussion surface for a different tone. If you are looking for a multi-surface pad that can be mounted in a variety of ways this pad offers great value and quality.I sincerely hope that you would find this review helpful.
