This is a beast of a charge controller. It is a massive upgrade to what I was using in my off grid building. It is able to handle way more solar and the read out is clear, easy to understand and the setup is done in a way that is easy to understand. This is a great charge controller and it can handle just about anything you throw at it, different battery types and a wide range of voltage. Top notch product. Two thumbs up.

This MPPT Solar Charge Controller is incredibly flexible and very well made with great heat dissipation. The ability to accept a wide range of input voltages and work with almost any battery chemistry makes this useful for almost any situation. The menus are also easy to navigate and configuration is pretty straightforward. The manual isn't bad either. The inclusion of a decent bus bar was an added bonus.

To start off with, according to the manual, this supports any kind of battery, from lithium to lead acid. Here's the key, though...the input voltage is automatic, but the output voltage has to be set by the user. So, you need to set the voltage to corespond with your battery system.The input and output voltage this will handle is pretty AWESOME. I would like to point out the discrepancy between the product description and the user manual. The product description states the input voltage should be between 17 and 55 volts...however, the manual states the input voltage can be between 17 and 84 volts, so if you're running a higher voltage setup, this should work. All the other specs seem to match the product description.The build quality of this is really good, and for the money, it's tough to find an MPPT charger that will accept such a wide range of both input and output voltages, as well as being able to support any battery technology. This actually stands out as an exceptional value for an exceptionally flexible piece of gear. 5 stars.
