The tin-plated copper tubes make for an easy mating point with terminal blocks, or under set screws and pressure plates. Ferrules also hold up to vibration, can be reconnected multiple times without damage and are a stronger mechanical connections than ring or fork terminals.

These 1/0 wire ferrules are a must have for next level car audio installations! They fit true spec 1/0 cable, and are the perfect length to ensure a nice fit into an amp. They also crimp very well making a secure connection to the wire with the addition of some heat shrink.

I use Royal Excelene and/or Radaflex welding cable for my audio builds, and as soon as I received my shipment, I ran out and tested on both. They both fit exactly right. You MUST start out with a fresh, clean cut, and immediately install the ferrule for it to work. The fit is extremely tight, and it has to be to work. Run heatshrink over your wire and the flared end of the ferrule, and shrink it, and you're all set. There is no need to crimp the connection if you lack the tool (for these bigger sizes at least), as the set screw at your connection point will end up "crimping" it for you fairly well, certainly well enough to be considered secure.I should have been using these from day one of starting this hobby.I left one star out because my shipment came as an opened bag with 10, instead of 25, which is weird because..why open the bag? The seller told me to get with Amazon directly which I don't really agree with since it is fulfilled by this Crimp supply place, but Amazon took care of it with another order.

Works perfect for the 1/0 gauge wire! It’s a very tight fit, but the 1/0 will fit in there.

These not only will make for a clean install. It will also save your wire from getting chewed up from set screw that always get loose over time due to it chewing up the wire.Removing a un-ferruled wire several times you will turn that 1/0 to 2ga wire fairly fast;Understand that these are true AWG sized ferrules. If you are using CCA jelly wire or some other oversized wire get the 2/0 ferrules.

It's definitely a tight fit, but you can't expect it to run over loose wires. Use a twist tie around the end and twist very tight. Then start with one side and slowly work the end of your wire into it. You may lose a few strands, but it's going to end up a better connection than not having it. Once it starts, twist in one direction until you can't anymore, then twist in the opposite direction and watch it slip right on.I used these on Knu Konceptz 1/0 Tinned OFC power wire, tight fit, but it works just fine.Adult tip: Don't complain when you can't figure it out. Try. You're an adult, fix the problem.I would really like to see some copper versions of these.Edit: A clean cut is necessary, don't hack the end up with old cutters or a make shift tool, or use and old end, you need a fresh clean cut end.
