I needed a puller the weekend before I bought this one! I'll never be without one again. Having the right tool for the job is imperative for most jobs and changing out cv axles is no different. This would have saved me a lot of pounding & heating that weekend. Unfortunately I have not been able to use this puller because it was packaged so poorly that it is missing one of the flat pieces that holds everything together. I guess I will have to fab one up before I can even use it. Oh well, I'll add that to my mile long list of things I need to do.

Unit is not well designed or built. The arms are so flexible they do not safely grip the gears/bearings etc. popped off several times while attempting to pull. Going to return. Spend the extra money amd get the OTC products.
