As of now, I've only used two of these to add a spring to a door-stop chain. It's a "heavy" aluminum-frame door with bulletproof/breakproof glass. The standard door-stop chain spring was just not good enough.Got a good heavy spring at a big-box store and it's all working well. There is no weight rating for these clips, but they do seem heavy enough for the job.And the price for 10 of these was similar to the price for just two at a hardware store. So it seems as if I'm ahead of the game. Time will tell.I'll try and come back here if I encounter any issues.
