I’m planning to build a small outdoor bar roof covering using 4x4 supports and 2x4 framing. I wanted to add these 45 degree angle braces for additional support on the corners. These braces appear more than sturdy with enough slots for different types of screws or nails. I was more than pleased with the 15 gauge thickness that lets me know they can do the job. A packet of 10 provides more than enough to cover 4 corners top and bottom. These braces I hope will help add to the sturdiness of my structure.

I got these brackets for a small lean-to shed project. Although these brackets are advertised for "knee support" applications, I was so impressed with their manufactured thickness as compared to the braces that I've used from the "Big Box" stores, that I feel confident in using them for our small project. I'll be attaching the brackets to a ledger placed on the side of the house, using lag screws instead of nails to give the polycarbonate panel roof plenty of support.
