These things make your snow blower better than new. My 11 year old Cub Cadet throws it farther than it did new. Takes some work to install but worth it.

Drilling the holes in a tight space to install these was quite a time consuming chore. However they work great. In February I cleaned wet, heavy snow from all the sidewalks on my block and the chute never clogged.

I had a mechanic install mine They look terrific When I run the blower dry I can smell very faint rubber burning Have to wait for snow to try my blower out !!

i installed the kit on the impeller of my Honda HS622 , (6HP-22 " Bucket) and wow!! no more wet snow jamming and the Blower throws a lot further with this kit installed. less strain on the machine also.the kit closes the gap between the blades and casing , helping snow to evacuate easier !! recommend!

It worked well for my snow blower. The rubber and steel plates had to be cut shorter to fit my impeller blades. Waiting for a storm to give it a test.

A bit of work to install ,removed impeller to install , needed to trim both the rubber and stainless steel parts to fit , but helped move the snow a lot . I think it would be very difficult to install without removing the impeller .

These work period on my Troy built 24 inch snow blower. I have already used these this winter in 3 types of snow this winter in AK 2024. I gained 10 to 15 feet of throwing and absolutely no plugging or sluffing of wet slush slushy snow! These work.I set mine up with 1/16 inch clearance in the barrel snow is wiped clean, the only cleaning is in the box area sides and tines.

Easy to install if you have a bit of mechanical ability. Seems to make a difference in snow throwing.

This is a great kit! Bought it a few months ago and just installed it now. Snow is throwing much farther than before. Looking forward to seeing how it performs in slush and wet snow.Rubber is very thick and all hardware is stainless with nylock nuts. Very rugged and should last a long time.Ease of installation will vary depending on your snowblower. Mine was tight around the impeller and shroud so it took awhile to drill holes through the chute opening and then to tighten the bolts.Take your time and it will work great! Lots of installation videos on YouTube.

I have no reason to believe this kit won’t work. Unfortunately, after beginning the installation I realized there was no viable means of drilling two holes on each impeller wing to mount the rubber plate, while maintaining the integrity of the impeller itself. In my case, Toro welded a support bracket on the back of the wing that would interfere with any bolt. So, check your impeller wings for bolt clearance first.

easy install. it took just under the hour with check and double check. Should have installed a kit years ago.

It was relatively easy to install, was a little concerned about installation, I am not the most gifted when it comes to doing installs, but it went really well. I positioned the rubber pads so they were touching the housing, figuring they would where down enough to fit really well. Come to discover the housing wasn't perfectively round, it was more oblong. It is a old craftsman. So it turns out one of the blades would be really close to the housing and the other two would be about 1/2 in a way from the housing. But the heavy rubber paddles would compensate for the difference. Now I know why I had such a problem with the snow getting stuck, very easily before install impellers. The slush I had cleared would of easily gummed up the housing before, but now did not have any problems with heavy wet snow and slush. I would highly recommend it.
