Good value but there's no markings, certifications, company name or anything on these. Just a plastic tube with all the strips in it, no seal, no gasket, nothing. And it says to use a cotton swab or such to apply the urine to it, to check the pH. Now, I doubt cotton can affect pH, but still, you're introducing other foreign materiel to the test strip.

I took this test when I felt normal. I got a test that said it was good/normal. I obviously don't have any way to check to make sure it's legit. I like to have these on hand so I can know if I ought to schedule a dr appt. Obviously you shouldn't treat yourself without knowing what's going on. But it's nice to have confirmation that you actually need to be seen.The current price is $8.99 for 100 strips. I'm pretty sure it's just pH tape.

I’m not saying I am upset that I registered as a perfectly ph-balanced yoni but I am also skeptical that the color of the strip didn’t change colors at all from the control color. At first I thought you peed on it but then I read that it asks for a cotton swab to get up in there and then put it on the strip. Still, nothing changed at all. These also don’t seem super high quality and are flimsy. I might actually be perfectly balanced but I am surprised it didn’t change at all.

These strips are very handy to have around whenever you feel like something is not right down there. Keeping a balanced ph is extremely important to women for health reasons. These strips come in a pack of 100 in a closely closed vial. The box or the vial did not have a seal however. I used a clean qtip to collect fluid and apply to the strip. Easy as ever. Great to keep around or give to your female friends and family.

Great to have these on hand for those cases where you're not sure if something's goign on, and don't want to spend $500 to go to the dr to find out. Easy to use and to read results.

Overall, these are useful for verifying optimal vaginal pH. I will note, however, that the chart for pHs shows normal pH as only 4.0. I've looked up normal pH's online, and according to the NIH, normal pH can actually go up to 5. The product does not do a great job explaining pH. It's just a chart where 4.0 has a smiley face; 5.0 and 6.0 have a face with a little dot for the mouth; and 6.5, 7.0, and 8.0 have a frowny face. You are told that if your result falls in the abnormal range, you should consult a doctor. I am not absolutely positive whether the middle range, with the face that has a dot for the mouth, is abnormal or not. I really wish they would have used some scale other than smiley faces.I used the pH meter to double-check the pH is of water and a lemon juice solution, NOT vaginal secretions like this is meant to test. A pH of 7.5 on the meter came out as a rather mottled seven or eight. I was disappointed to see that when testing just water, the test area was not a uniform color. It makes the pH strips seem a little less trustworthy than ones that I have used before. The lemon juice solution red 4.6 on the pH meter, and the result was a uniform color between 4.0 and 5.0 on the pH strip.It seems like the pH strips start out with a yellowish color and the indicator on the strip starts to turn blue as the pH goes higher. There is not much distinction between the lower pHs so it may be difficult to tell if your result falls in the smiley face zone or the dot-for-a-mouth zone. To be honest, though, the pH strips are pretty standard and they should be fine for you to get a general idea of whether you're acidity is normal or not. They seem reasonably priced compared to other pH strips I have seen for sale in stores.

They seem to work well! Cotton swabs are needed but not included. I like that they color key is easy to read and the colors vary enough from each other that you're able to take a good guess where your test result falls in the spectrum. I do with the tests were wrapped in some smaller packets as other brands do, to preserve freshness of the tests over the longterm (100 tests will take a lot of time to use up).

Rudimentary personal pH test conducted by fluid to strip transfer. These seem to be pretty basic test strips with generic color matched read out that ironically seems to match our pools test kit, go figure. Wet to use.
