I use this to hold up individual cables, and it works really well. you can pry it off with your fingers if you try, but it will not fall on its own. It's very low profile but not invisible, as there is a tag you use to remove it--in the photo is at the bottom of the image, the semicircle. It's ideal for edges and corners where people won't look too closely. Use it for USB and other thin cables, not anything like HDMI or 120V power cables.
