I looked for these for a long time as I had used them once before. I use them to put the ORNAMENTS on the tree. They hold the ornaments securely and closer to the branches. Better than the old style hooks that you buy that are very flimsy. Give them a try!!!

Bought these to (semi) permanently restring a Balsam Hill christmas tree with Twinkly LED string lights (> 2500 lights in total). I had been using the more expensive Novelty Lights clips available on amazon (100 for $16.99), which worked great except for the price per unit. I was hoping these would also work since they were cheaper for 200.Unfortunately, these are of lesser quality. The plastic is thinner, the opening is too large for mini christmas tree lights. What is worse, the lights do not stay in place and the clips have a tendency to become undone and fall off the tree.Recommendation: Do not buy. We purchased these light clips to affix lights on two of our exterior trees. They were easy to use and worked great. Follow their application, we have had several days with heavy snow and wind. The clips held the lights in place with no adjustments needed.
