It is great for junction boxes but terrible for panel knockouts. Expect to get passed off pulling it into a panel. It will detach. Its better to get the longer rigid plastic button connectors or metal romx connectors.

These work well and are flexible enough to do the job.

We bought these for our basement finish. They are super thin and easily to install. They can work in holes that have joists and soffit boards. Very nice to be able to adjust light color to suite your preference. These are also low power and very inexpensive. I highly recommend.

I have used this style of connector numerous times in the past, and this batch seems pretty equivalent to others in form & function. This type is great for running fixed wire into junction boxes. It provides significant reistance to cable pull out and also protects the cable from scuffing against the metal box opening.IMO these are much quicker and easier to use than screw-type metal clamps. I always prefer this type unless the cable is going to get moved around or stressed somehow after installation.Though the product description does state that these are for "NM" cable (which would all be "NM-B" these days AFAIK) --- the marketing photos show multiple strands of small wires randomly inserted - this is incorrect. These connectors have a single 'slot' in the center which the rectangular cable should pass through. This slot is what will bite down on the cable and prevent pullout. These felt slightly harder to install than others. Often this type IS hard to get into the knockout hole and you have to twist and distort it to get it in, but then it seats with a satisfying click. Once in the knockout it should rotate semi-freely. These were a little tight. There is no information I can find that explains what wire gauges and/or combinations of wires they are meant for. (Its possible these could technically not be to code because of this.) Based on other similar items you can use them wihh at least 1-2 #14 or 1 #12 cables. Trying to fit more than that often is physically too difficult (which is not a flaw, just not probably what they were meant for).
