Water Gel Seal
Our seed paper envelopes are water gel-sealed, requiring no complex installation tools. After placing seeds, small electronic components, or other small items inside the envelopes, wet the adhesive on the envelopes with water, fold them, press for a few seconds, and let them sit for 1-3 minutes to complete the sealing.
Visibility

Cute envelopes but I don't like that they don't seal. Very important when handing a friend some seeds you collected for them and they spill out.

These envelopes are really cute and the window in the back is great. I’ve never collected seeds before but I’m having a good time, I will hand some packets out to my neighbours for next year. They seem to seal well too.

My wife is an avid gardener and saves a lot of our seeds year to year. THESE cute envelopes really made her day! She loves them! They have taken her seed saving to a new level to be able to store her seeds in these. The decor on the envelope is a truly nice addition. The printers also added the lines to record the seed type, variety, date collected AND instructions for planting! She often shares extra seeds with friends and loved ones and these are great for sharing, too. The glue seems to stick well to hold hte seeds inside. But some seeds are super tiny - like oregano. They sneak out no matter how tightly you have them sealed in.She can tape them as well, there is plenty of area to do that if she chooses. If you are looking for a nice way to save your seeds, this sure is the way! There are 100 envelopes which should get her through a year - but has already asked me to grab more, and even larger ones if I see them! She just reminded me to mention the little window! Each envelope has a tiny clear window on the back, too - you can see what seeds and the size through the little window in case there is any question.

I got these envelopes in the hopes I will be able to begin harvesting seeds from plants that I grow. I have been studying on the best ways to do so, and have been preparing for that time to come.I like the window option, which allows me to look at the seeds that are inside. This is important to be able to confirm what it is as being forgetful I fear I will fail to label an envelope or two so it allows me to check what is in it and not get them mixed up, plus I will be able to see how the seeds look as I live in a very humid area and if there is any moisture included the seeds can rot, or mold.

These are pretty and feel like good quality craft paper envelopes; the print on the front is artistic and helpful to remember what information you need to write when labeling your seeds. The window at the back is a nice way to be able to see what size of seed you'll be working with (especially at a seed swap where folks might not be familiar with all of the species in your seed stash), as well as to check on seed conditions (with home seed saving, if you didn't get the seeds perfectly dry, mold can rear its ugly head). The envelopes are larger than the standard craft paper coin envelopes, so you can fit more seeds in them.If you'll be using a binder to organize your seeds, double check the measurements of the binder pockets before you order these. Most of the card and envelope organizer pockets are too small for these large seed envelopes. I love these envelopes, but you will need binder sleeves with larger pockets to fit them. That's not a big deal, just something to check for compatibility before you order.

I ordered these envelopes because I save my vegetable seeds at the end of the season for the next growing season and I often don’t have anything other than regular white mailing envelopes to put they in. These seed packets are great! So much thicker and sturdy and a great size just like seed packets you buy in the store. I love that they have a clear window so you can see the seeds and an estimate of how many you have. Also having them already marked with places for the type of seed and info about it and dates is a huge plus! It really helps keep me organized.
