This tooling leather was just what I needed to make my own knife stropping board. The larger size makes the job much easier for longer bladed knives. Would recommend for any project that requires a decent piece of leather

The leather is thick and durable, and has a decent quality of surface. It's not extremely nice or beautiful leather (although it is not ugly), but it works well for making a homemade strop.

Not the best soling leather I've used, but it works well enough and seems to hold up to regular use so far. The flesh side can be a little hairy, so beware of that.
