These were bought for a community "crafting" event and we were very pleased. The children painted them with craft paint and they were excellent. I tried a coaster out on my end table with my morning coffee and ve assured they work well as a coaster.

I had an idea and it turned out better than I anticipated! You can just use these and not feel bad tossing them. You can ALSO craft on them. Give the kids some markers. I used sublimation prints with a mini heat press on medium setting and they turned out really good.

We had 24 old Comfortena rubber coasters but the cork inserts had all gotten stains and we were embarrassed to use them with guests. These cork coasters fit fairly well in the old coasters and are cheap enough that we can replace them when necessary
