I used this gold leaf for a mural wall in my home office and it was great to use. Larger sized sheets that are a true gold. It doesn’t crumble when you touch it like other brands I’ve used before. If you’re looking for gold leaf BUY THIS ONE

This is not real gold leaf, but it’s a really nice alternative. I use this on some of my paintings and it has the look Of gold leaf, but without the high price tag. I have only use it in paintings, but I am pleased with andhesion application, it was a very easy process.

I have been in the process of re-leafing some antique picture frames and this stuff is fabulous. It gets into all the nooks and crannies and adheres very well to all of the surfaces. I save the leftovers for any art craft project that I can use gold in like a liquid resin project. All around great product. It doesn't take much for your project to look like a million bucks.

I ordered this for a few DIY projects around the house. I am new at gold leafing and have been looking to gold leaf some plastic coins for a western themed party. This is a good deal on the 100 sheets you get and the quality for the price is great. It's versatile and can be used on jewelry, rocks, finger nails, furniture, and toys. It is really and very fragile. I used modge podge to get the leaf to stick to the coins and sprayed them with a clear gloss coating to help the leafing last long. The gold shine and color makes the plastic coins look like we discovered them in a treasure chest. This is cheaper alternative to the real thing and I am pleased with the final results.

I think this faux gold leaf is very effective, it's very shiny and a luscious deep gold colour. The sheets come in a box and are packed with paper separators so you can take one sheet out on it's paper and then apply it to your chosen work. The process is fairly simple but the sheets are extremely fragile, it takes some practice to get the gold onto the object. If you crumple the sheets it does disintegrate into very fine bits which are difficult to pick up or clean off.I'm not sure what this is made of, it says copper, but the box contains a warning label which says the product can expose you to a chemical.... etc but doesn't say what chemical. A little concerning perhaps but it's not edible and is only meant for application to objects which should be sealed with a lacquer coating, in which case you shouldn't be exposed to what ever it is.

These imitation gold leaf sheets add a luxurious touch to any craft project. They’re easy to apply and work well on various surfaces, including nails, picture frames, and art projects. The gold foil is thin and delicate but adds an impressive shine to whatever it’s applied to.

Okay, so this is a bit messy, but I LOVE it! Do I have gold leaf all over my workspace now? Yes, but this stuff is so fun to work with and it really makes your projects shine...both metaphorically and physically. These are fold leaf sheets, which are newer to me as previously I used gold leaf transfers where you rub it on rather than set it and brush it. So there was learning curve for me. You need to make sure you have a good sticky medium for the gold leaf to cling to, honestly I tried both tacky glue and a glues stick and both worked fine for me. This is not SUPER forgiving, so make sure you readied your area you wanted to set it and gently place the gold leaf ONLY when you are ready. I am so happy with the results, and I used less than I thought. It does fall apart really easily so be warned if you are new to gold leaf, but for me, this is now a must for my art tool box and the price is amazing!

This is a great deal on 100 sheets of quality gold leaf. It's versatile so you can use it on jewelry, rocks, your nails, furniture, you name it. It is a very thin gold leaf & pretty fragile so if you're new to it, it might not be easy to use at first. But once you figure out how to handle it, it will adhere nicely & look great.

For full transparency, let me start off by admitting I have no real idea what I'm doing with gold leaf. I'm a maker, I love trying new things, and I wanted to give this technique a shot. I watched a few DIY videos but mainly went in without any prior experience or knowledge just to see what I could do. I make a lot of 3D prints, and I thought adding gold leaf could be an interesting new finishing technique for some of my prints. My results were far from perfect, but I think the leaf did its job well, and the imperfections were mainly due to my own mistakes and challenges of trying to combine gold leaf + plastic 3D prints. The technique I tried to use was applying white glue to the object and letting it dry until it was tacky. Then I applied the gold leaf and "brushed" it on and into nooks and crannies. Like other leafs that I have seen in videos, this has some structure to it, but will tear apart when it feels enough tension. This review isn't meant to be a tutorial, but for those who are interested, if I were to attempt this again, I would use a spray adhesive (or something less goopy than white glue.) I also would not have attempted the entire body at once, and would have worked on one area at a time. Many of the "bald" spots on my print are from either my hands touching and pulling leaf away from the object, or from wet glue pulling leaf away while I was trying to clean up the design. As far as the leaf itself, I had no complaints. The color appeared to be darker than I expected, like rose brass when I took a sheet out, but as I applied it, it really does look like proper gold when its applied well. The sheets are separated individually with paper in between, so they aren't hard to bring out or separate from the pack (although once you get them out of the pack, they might cling to whatever you put them on, so keep those little paper sheets around.) This pack could last you a while, depending on your projects. The cat I worked with was about 2" tall, and I used about 1.5 sheets out of the 100 in the pack.I don't know a lot about gold leaf, but in my experience, this seemed to perform as well as any videos I watched, and the results of my test give me confidence that I could make a better finished product with some experience and experimentation, and I would have no problem continuing to work with these sheets in that process.
