I purchased these rivnuts for dual purpose. When matched with a 1/4 20 bolt they work as expected. However, I also expected this stainless steel to be magnetic. It's not.

Great look/finish and product but maybe too good. Just found it hard to crimp by hand and after 20 of them, my wrist and grip hand was sore. Probably should’ve bought an air crimper for these but didn’t want to spend the money since I had a manual crimper and only had 20 to do.

I used a 11/32" bit for the hole and it made for a perfectly tight fit that I tapped in with a hammer. So far all have mushroomed perfectly symmetrical.

I love these rivnuts a great solution instead of a nut on the backside that you may not be able to reach. Perfect for use with sheet metal. I have had one or two spin on me but I still love the product. I do recommend a drill as close to the size of the shank as possible.
