These are extremely high quality filters. Well made with a great storage case. I was looking for replacement filters to my standard paper filters for vacuum filtration of a nitrate solution since paper filters can get roughed up with solutions that have solid metal pieces in it. These looked more rigid and tried them out. They were not compromised at all my the metal pieces that were left in the solution, but nitrate solutions could not pull through this paper under any vacuum.I only tell that embarrassing story in the hopes that if another hobbyist is doing the same thing, this redirects them back to paper filters.
