SMOTIVEPRO 1.05 Quart / 1 Liter Multi-Purpose Oil Pump
Suitable for dispensing engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and other moderately viscous, non-flammable, non-corrosive liquids. Not suitable for liquid extraction.
The 39.37-inch hose provides flexibility for hard-to-reach areas. The hook-shaped tube end allows it to hang on the inlet for easy dispensing, and the hook can be hung back on the lid’s storage hole after use.

Junk! Didn’t pump at all. I did steal the hose off it which was nice to have the metal hook hose to do a diff on a motorcycle. But that little part doesn’t justify the cost.

Works good, takes MANY pumps to empty a full bottle. Doesn’t move a lot of fluid per pump.

This SMOTIVEPRO 1 liter oil pump is a great idea but ultimately has a lot of trade-offs for being a whopping $25. I would have assumed that because there were indents on the sides of the housing per the pictures that it had gradiations to help for precisely dispensing product since that is clearly the #1 intended use-case but unfortunately it does not. It is also very finicky on pumping as sometimes I can get the vacuum to pump oil and other times it does not. I even tried to oil the piston to help prime it but not so much. This issue persisted into pulling oil out as well. This brings me to the other concern in that you need to be strategic about the oil you are pulling or pushing as you do not want to contaminate good oil by placing into the chamber after pulling old oil out. You also should not mix different oil types. This issue can be avoided if you wipe out the container after every use but that gets to be very painful very quickly. I was planning to avoid this issue all together by dedicating the bottle to a couple of very close oil types but that's when I decided to give up and went to a local big box store. They had one of these pumps as a name brand at half the price. Yeah, this is not a good value proposition for these reasons and I can take it back if it fails. This is just an ok oil pump that is either going to be hit or miss. I gave it the benefit of the doubt by offering 3 stars with a big YMMV disclaimer.

I recently serviced the rear end of my Dodge Warlock. Putting gear lube back in is much easier in the Haynes manual than it is in reality. Trying to put the bottle of gear lube up and into the hole on top is difficult. I dumped the gear lube into this. I was a bit concerned at first that it was too thick, but it worked and it worked well. I put the lube in and a few pumps to prime the pump and it filled the differential with no muss, no fuss, and no spills.I disassembled the pump, cleaned it in a parts cleaner to get the lube out, and it is now ready for the next job, replacing the transmission fluid in my trusty old Ford Ranger. The transmission uses automatic transmission fluid and it has to go into a plug on the upper side of the transmission... not an easy location.

Looks like the pictures has a nice steady stream. The pump is a little stiff not sure if that’s a good thing or not cause typically crawling under the vehicle there’s not a lot of room an in a awkward position but it has that handy metal tube to hook into the fill hole of the differential or transmission an enough hose you could pump it outside the car.

Overall, this is a useful product that comes in handy, but it could be a little better. Unless you try to use it when oil is really thick or really cold it seems to work fine. The screw on cap for mine has occasionally popped off the threads and this would be much more user friendly if it has markers on the side for certain volumes (12 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz, etc).For a fairly inexpensive pump it actually performs pretty well and having the insert tube with return hole in the cap is pretty nice for not making a mess when oil drains back out. It works really well for those times when you need to put a fair amount of oil into a small orifice that won't take a funnel, or you can't pour into directly due to accessibility or clearance issues. I've had my screw-on cap seemingly jump the threads twice already, which is concerning, but I can't guarantee that it somehow didn't get loosened on the threads somehow.The label on the bottle will probably fall off immediately once you get it, which isn't a huge deal. I would recommend securing the hose on the pump outlet with a fuel line clamp or something similar to make sure it won't pop off when under pressure. I'd also recommend making your own volume markers on the side of the jug, so you know exactly how much oil you're dealing with and don't need to guess. It's also easier to insert the metal tube into the hose if you lubricate it and carefully apply some heat.I'm not disappointed, but there are a few things that could make it a little better. Thankfully, it's not hard to make some of those improvements yourself. As long as the pump mechanism doesn't fail prematurely this is a decent value for the price.

This is a great alternative to budget fluid transfer pumps like the ones you might get from Harbor Freight, because they don't do very well with viscous fluids like gear oil. This pump is great for that reason. It's easy to clean and transfers 85W-140 gear oil with no problem. I especially like the stainless steel probe tip that allows for precise delivery. Admittedly, I can tell that it won't last forever, but it will last much longer than the budget pumps I've owned in the past.

We have several older 4X4 Ford trucks, and the transfer cases need to be filled from the side. There just isn’t a lot of room to try to pour into the side filler holes, so this pump is the best solution. This kind of issue doesn’t come up every day, but when it does, it requires a solution like this pump. You can fill it with the type of fluid needed and pump it right into place without spills, and it pumps down to almost empty. It holds enough fluid to be practical, and works perfectly. What a great addition to our shop.

Zum absaugen durch das Rohr oder den Schlauch muss die Pumpe per Druckhebel mit Unterdruck versorgt werden um das absaugen zu ermöglichen. Das funktioniert problemlos.Der Preis ist mit ca. 25€ gerade noch so okay. 5 Sterne.

hatte mir zwei von diesen Ölpumpen geholt, eins ist gleich kaputt gegangen und das andere funktioniert bis jetzt gut. Hatte Differenzialöl (75w90) getauscht. Es braucht etwas Kraft und Zeit das Öl einzufüllen. Aber die Pumpe hat bestanden. Habe eine zweite Pumpe bestellt und hoffe das die länger hält.

Die SMOTIVEPRO Mehrzweck-Umfüllpumpe kommt in einem schlichten weißen Karton gemeinsam mit Schlauch und Füllröhrchen aber ohne eine Anleitung.Die Pumpe ist nicht für entzündliche Flüssigkeiten wie z.B. Benzin geeignet.Der eigentliche Sinn solcher Pumpen ist das Auffüllen von Getriebeöl beim PKW wo man an den Einfüllstutzen schlecht rankommt, sie kann natürlich auch bei diversen anderen Tätigkeiten behilflich sein.Die Pumpe hat ein Fassungsvermögen von 1 Liter und die verwendeten Materialen wirken relativ hochwertig.Ich bin zufrieden und kann die Umfüllpumpe durchaus empfehlen!
