I added this to cart because Amazon said it was needed to go along with the struts I purchased. Unfortunately these are the wrong size and I cannot use them at all. Wish I could because these are well made.

These were exactly what I needed to be able to raise the roof on my generator house, as my wife calls it, so i dont bump my head if I have to work on the generator or put gas in it.. I was unsure if they were the correct size after I purchase the wrong ones first , of course I was thinking I knew what i was doing and was wrong. So i licked my wounds and sucked it up then I asked the seller a question and got a response within 12 hours. They asked me to send a picture of what i was using them on. Then sent the picture back with color coded lines drawn on it. Those lines showed me exactly where they wanted me to get weight and length measurements at the specific point to make sure I got the correct mounting brackets and the correct size gas springs according to the information they requested. I was given spot on directions on where to install them with amazing accuracy just from a couple questions I answered for them and the picture i sent. I have a couple of projects and they sell some of the item and I will buy from them going forward and not my normal seller.

Had to replace the original ball mount installed in my RV for the screen door closer. The original was secured to an aluminum plate which corroded over time. This new one is much more secure, with five screws to hold it in place, and it appears to be stainless steel too, so corrosion shouldn’t be a problem. So, rather than simply repairing the issue I had with the previous part, I was able to make a significant improvement by installing this much better part.
