junk bulbs are loose in socket flicker on and off not very heavy-duty

I have tried 4 different brands of bulbs and they all either flicker or go out. I found that if you put the bulbs all the way in the contact is weak on these connectors. However, they fit my dash well and they are easy to wire.*update* The wiring has worked loose and all of my dash bulbs now flicker. I will have to remove these and find another solution.*update 2* It turns out that the bulbs I bought are the issue.

I use product reviews to help me sift thru similar products and decide which to purchase. I find some are totally useless. Like one's that simply say that the product is "GREAT" or "GARBAGE" without any explanation or reason at all. I kind of think they are planted by the seller or a competitor. Then there's "I haven't used it yet, but it will work". Really, 5 stars! From my purchase, I can't believe anyone would give this product a positive review. Out of a bag of 10, only 1 was able to hold the bulb securely enough to function properly. 6 of the socket's conductors/connectors were splayed out so much that if you inverted it and wiggled it a bit, the bulb would fall out. The other 3 would hold the bulb enough to illuminate it as long as it remained completely stationary. Any movement and the bulb would flicker. That being said, the issue is easily remedied if you have patience and realize the simplicity of it's function. I gave it 2 stars because I lost time on the job and worry about it's durability. But I paid .90 cents a piece, and for me it is a simple issue to fix. But if you're expecting to purchase these and have them function properly straight out of the bag, I want you to know that wasn't my experience. That being said, would I buy it again? At it's current price and realizing the prep needed before going to the job, yes.

They work well enough, they could grab the bulb base a little better. I had to pinch the contacts tighter. My application was not an automotive dash but rather individual marine instruments I wanted to convert to blue 5050 LEDs.
