These envelopes are sturdy enough. They are like Manilla envelopes used to be before most of them became thin and flimsy. But to call these “Heavy Duty” is an exaggeration, and at a cost of 60 cents each, these are overpriced.

These are nice medium-sized manila envelopes. From shipping, ours came in with each envelope having an indentation of the metal clasp from the adjacent one in the package. This is only an aesthetic issue, but something to note for those that may use these for crafts or something where the envelopes need to look pristine. Otherwise, they function perfectly.

The Good: Nice mid-sized mailer. I work overseas on a military base and I receive my stateside mail in a larger version of these. Occasionally I need to mail something back and the flimsy normal envelopes are not the most sturdiest things. A co-worker gave me one of these to mail back an important document and I thought it was great. I ordered these shortly afterwards. Perfect size for small documents and letters. Metal clasp offers secondary security besides sticky seal. Text on envelope really pops out.The Bad: I have to hide them so co-workers don't 'borrow' them.Overall: Very happy with order. The 10 envelopes should last me a year as I rarely send mail from my location. Size is great and you can even insert a piece of cardstock to prevent bending. Recommend.
