Your cart is empty. The L78xx series of three-terminal positivregulators is available in TO-220, TO-220TO-3 and D2PAK packages and several foutput voltages, making it useful in a wide of applications.
These regulators can prlocal on-card regulation, eliminating the distribution problems associated with singregulation.
Each type employs internal culimiting, thermal shut-down and safe area protection, making it essentially indestrucadequate heat sinking is provided, they cdeliver over 1 A output current.
Although dprimarily as fixed voltage regulators, thesdevices can be used with external compoobtain adjustable voltage and currents

I haven’t ran a voltage meter on this yet, but i have put a cheap little 12 volt “battery percentage” tester on it. It only showed the charge at 2 of 5 bars. I will try and check back if i get a chance to truly test it, but i’m pretty sure i saw this on another review as well… so if you have a narrow voltage you need to work within, definitely test them out before soldering anything in.
