These inserts are meant to fit into a specific holder that allows for just a few thousands of play. Most holders are set to .222 height or very close which requires that the carbide bits are around .218 or .220 high to slide in easily. These are ALL measuring .225 or .226 which doesn't seem like a lot until you account for the micro groove in the top and bottom of the carbide insert. That engages with the micro groove in the holder to hold these bits laterally and securely. By these being just a bit too tall, you cannot get them into the holder and they are useless you force or stretch your holder open which will cause metal fatigue etc...
