This is a standard PVC adapter. There is nothing special about it nor is there anything wrong with it. If I need another I would buy again.

1st problem I had was that the packaging was mis-labeled so I received qty1 instead or qty5, so this cost me a trip to the store so that I could finish a job. Seller communicated well, promising to send a replacement but then issued a refund instead. OK.2nd problem is that even though the specs state that the threads are NPT which are tapered pretty good, this one is not tapered enough to tighten and seal properly. It tries, but just doesn't snug up enough as you tighten. In fact, it will actually bottom out in the mating fitting. Even with lots of teflon tape I've still got a very slight leak. Probably going to have to re-work the connection, arrgh.
