Ok lets be fair they do work. However, they are made of cheap plastic and the screw will strip the head easily. I had to turn one screw back out with a pair of pliers. I also did not like that some of them were milled in such away that they required a force to pill apart. Do yourself the favor and buy the real thing.

As a musician of 50 years, this is one of the worst strap-locks I have ever seen. The release buttons break off almost as soon as you touch them. If you want a strap-lock for your guitar, this plastic piece of junk is not the one to trust. The front one on my strap broke off the first time I tried to take my strap off and the bottom one broke off when I sat my guitar down. Boo- is all I have to say about product. Make sure you get strap locks that are all metal. These should not even be for sale.

Do not use these if you are gigging or recording. they are noisy with any guitar shift/movement and the knob on the end of the strap lock will eventually pull off because its interference fit and then you can't remove the strap without tools. They're fine for limited use, around the house but what's the point of that.

None of them are the same size, they are all different. If your guitar is worth more than $50, you want to anything but this product.

The diameter of the button is larger than a Schaller button. Your strap fitted with Schallers won’t fit these buttons. You are OK as long as you don’t mix the two but in my case all my straps have Schaller receptacles and I’m not switching them.

These are great and much cheaper priced than the name brand. I have bought a few packs of these so far and I do usually get at least a set that isn't usable. That still leave 4 sets that are quite usable and still makes it a much better deal. Buy these, you will not be disappointed.
