fasteners wood stainless steel composite trim screws 304 316 deck flat head anti corrosion
  • These screws work well for decks, fences, railings, docks, and other wood projects. They are great for outdoor use because they resist rust. These screws are made for wood. If using them with metal, you may need washers or other hardware.

  • Stainless steel screws offer excellent rust resistance, durability, and strength. They are ideal for indoor and outdoor and humid environments where traditional screws may corrode over time.

  • The Type 17 cutting point reduce the need for pre-drilling by cutting into the wood more easily minimizing wood splitting, making installation faster and smoother. However, for very hard wood, drilling a small pilot hole can help prevent cracks.

  • These screws resist rust under normal conditions, but in saltwater or very wet environments, they may wear over time. To maintain durability, check regularly and consider using marine-grade stainless steel for the best performance in coastal areas.

  • They have a T25 star (Torx) drive, which prevents slipping and makes them easier to install.

Seems like a great product. I will see if they hold up like 304 stainless should.

EDIT: I posted the review below and within 2 days, I received communication from the company and they offered me a fair, partial refund. This is great customer service and much appreciated. Thank you for making this right.Original Review:This is the second time I have purchased this box of 1200 screws. The screws are great, but this container arrived with the lid half detached and the volume looked low. I decided to do a quick weight check to see if I got what I paid for. I weighed 100 screws and did the math… looks like this box is about 100+ screws short. Disappointed.

Fast delivery, great quality and easy to use. Used them to rebuild a wood porch and am very happy with the results.

Hard to start into wood -- screws just spin for a while before grabbing and screwing in. Break off too often, for instance, when driving into a knot. Both problems due to design/manufacturing deficiencies. Also, the Torx recess in the head is not a very tight on the driving Torx bit, requiring two-handed grip to drive -- one hand holding the screw, the other holding the driver. Otherwise, the screw usually falls off the bit.

Screws look decent but even with drilling a pilot hole in the deck board they will break off if you try to reverse them after driving. Also, the container came in with the lid off and the screws spilling inside the shipping bag, I think I got most of them but I suspect a few were missing.
