My 8 year old daughter is in to soft ball. I picked up this bucket of balls so she could practice hitting without chasing the ball with each hit. The balls are good quality and have held up well so far. The bucket is on the smaller side, maybe a 2.5gal square sized bucket? too low to sit on...at least for me. Nothing to ding them on, just something that's good to know. I have my normal base ball bucket though with my padded lid that I just dumped these into.

Basic practice softballs are great for 8U to 10U age ranges. The balls have no markings, making them a good option for getting teammates'/coaches' signatures. They also come in a smaller plastic bucket with a lid and a lightweight handle. These are great for everyday practice; there is nothing extraordinary or special about them. The price seems fair.

Nice set of softballs for practice. Tremendous value for the money. Durable covering feels good in the hand. Softball season is coming so we need several balls for batting and fielding practice. These fit the bill nicely. Comes in a bucket for storage and carry. Hard to open, but other than that a great purchase.

Picked these up to provide additional practice balls for softball. They are not quite game ball worthy, but will do the trick to get more reps in.The leather outside is a good quality, but finishes are slightly lacking. The stitching is fine, but the actual line up of the two seams is off on most of these balls. You can't see the insides of the ball, but the seams are bumpy in places or raised where they weren't put together right.Balls are all rounded and no issues with being lumpy or out of balance. Just noted the main item was the stitching and seams.We plan to use them for practices, with plenty of use being hit for grounders or even in the batting cages. Will see how well they hold up, but were a much more economical option than the more expensive (but higher quality) game ball.Would recommend as an option to add additional balls to your collection, but know what you're getting first!

Balls and bucket were received in proper packaging. Balls are good. Decent - not great leather but it's good overall. The bucket is extremely small so I ordered another one to use for sitting on during pitching lessons but I knew that going in and priced everything out properly and this was still a great deal. Happy with my purchase for the pricing!

These 11-inch softballs are generally good quality. However, the price point is too high for off-brand softballs of mid-tier quality. While I am pleased with the quality of the balls, they are not top quality that is on par with good balls from recognizable brand names. That said, they also are not cheap junk. From a quality perspective, these balls are in the middle of the pack.For mid-tier off-brand balls, I would expect some money savings over brand name balls of similar or better quality. As currently priced, the average price of these balls is either slightly more or slightly less than similar 11-inch balls from brands like Rawlings and Champion. However, the quality of the brand name balls in a similar price range is better than these balls. Based on that, I would say that these balls should offer some savings, but they don't. If these were priced a bit lower and offered some comparative value, I would rate them higher, possibly 4 or 5 stars depending on the price point. At the current full price that is very similar to some very good brand name options, I can only give this set 3 stars.I did not add any value to the inclusion of the bucket. This bucket is not a standard full-sized softball/baseball bucket that you commonly see used at fields and training facilities. The included bucket is really just for shipping or very light use. It is actually more of a cube shape, is small (just big enough to fit the 16 included balls), and not very heavy duty. The handle is made from plastic and doesn't seem like it would last long as a bucket that you constantly transport to and from fields. That said, the bucket certainly could be used for storage at home if you're just going to use these int he backyard, but given the type of bucket, I can't add any significant value to the bucket that would justify a higher price point for these balls. Had this set come with a more heavy duty full sized ball bucket that could be used over many years for transporting balls to and from fields, then the price point of this set of balls and bucket actually would have been a pretty good value for a bucket and 16 balls, but to me, this is essentially a set of 16 balls without a bucket unless your needs for the bucket are very light duty.

Nice set of softballs. Bucket is well-constructed, but would have appreciated a strap for carrying. Softballs look and handle just like regulation ones for 10u fastpitch league, which makes them nice for practicing. Unmarked, so they can be written on or customized. At $89.99, they are on the expensive side, especially since they are not a familiar brand. Despite that, it's a good set. 5 stars.

Overall a really solid set of softballs. I like that they come in a compact size bucket to hold them all. that is really convenient for lugging them around here and there for practice. They are solid feeling and give good response off the bat when hitting. They just feel quality. If you know a good ball you'll know what i mean. None of that overly squishy distance restricted ball feel. In the hand they feel good and they flight well off the throw with an ever so slight raised seam. No logos just a bare yellow ball which is pretty nice for a change. After 5-6 rounds of hitting they are holding up very well. No denting, tears, or any type of damage just bat marks that wipe right off. My only drawback is that for a bulk set it is a tad bit overpriced. I can definitely get these locally for cheaper. It was just more convenient to have delivered as i didn't need them immediately otherwise i would have sourced them elsewhere.
