Step 1

  • Clean the surface. place the special magnetic spacer. Locate the right saddle spacers.

  • Zero the Dial indicator. Make sure both pointer are in the “zero” position.

Step 3

  • Lightly oil the saddle. Install it. Be careful with the dial indicator so that the tip doesn’t jam. Reinstall the bearing caps.

Step 4

  • Rotate the dial indicator. Gently rest it on the magnetic support. Moving it back and forth on the magnetic support until we get the highest.
