These were easy to use them bulkheads that I have used in the past and the seal up really good and don’t leak. I recommend anyone to buy them that are making a RDWC system.

Using these and other sizes in my hydroponics systems and came home to a wet floor one day, one had cracked and was dripping slowly. When I checked the others, another one was cracked but not leaking yet.So 2 stars for 2 years :)

Installed three so far, including one on the filler pipe to the HDPE fresh water tank on my bus conversion. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's specified hole saw size and drill slow enough so as not to risk melting the plastic. I used a dab of Sunlight soap to install the ring and the pipe. Very happy with how tight and secure the end result was. Cheers!

These are very hard to install and anyone who says you can install a pipe in these and then adjust the pipe as needed with ease is lying to you! I'm using them in a hydro setup with round 5 gallon buckets and adjusting them was so hard I gave up. I did have some the leaked but after getting the pipe back out which is not easy and reinstalling I was able to get 5 buckets linked with no leakage. Just lots of cursing and you will need a drink after fighting with these!

Used these to assemble a clay trap. The internal connections worked well as friction fit, even though I used a deburring tool to open the holes just enough to get the pipe through without damaging the thinner plastic tote. The connection that went to the sewer was on a thicker container which was a bit tough to push through. Not sure if needed, but I added some silicone sealant inside and out to guarantee a water free basement.

a lot of people complain about these leaking, but if you know what youre doing, they work just fine, and much cheaper than bulkheads.

I do like these, but it is difficult to get the pipe through once in place. Once in they work fairly well. Not as secure as a bulkhead, especially under pressure, but works reasonable well for the intended purpose. And MUCH more affordable than bulkheads.

This is the way to seal a PVC pipe to a tank. I also use them to seal pipe exits from the house - like an escutcheons. In this case of a retro fit I cut the seal, slap it on the pipe and use black silicone caulk for the split. See the picture for an example. Note that the retrofit usage isn't water tight. I am an engineer and I worry about things like plasticization between PVC pipe and anything it contacts. These are designed for PVC using EPDM. The quality of the seals is excellent. A 1 1/2" Uniseal works for 1 1/2" PVC pipe - the OD of the pipe is 1.9". Wet the seal before trying to slide the pipe into it. It's tight but that's the whole idea.
