GC was well pieased with a very neat 2&1/2" hole thru 10" brick/concrete exterior wall.Very little wear to diamond cutter surface.

The drill performed as well as the more expensive bits. Would have given it 10 stars if it were 11 inches long as advertised, its not (only 10 inch deep ) I had to sledge the core out, making a bit of a mess on the inside wall.

This diamond core bit drills really well. I used it to install 2.5 inch steel fence posts in rock. I drilled several 3.5 inch x 24 inch deep holes in volcanic rock using this bit and a hole hawg. It bound up a few times (as expected) but never broke any teeth off. I used a pump sprayer to keep the bit wet while drilling and besides missing most of the paint I couldn't tell the diamond teeth were worn down at all.I've used several expensive name brand concrete core bits at work and for the price this one didn't disappoint.I've gotten cheap diamond attachments before and their performance was terrible but this bit worked great and was 1/4 the price.
