Great addition to my tackle box. I've seen/used different designs, some with angled handles. This gripper works well and seems to be a sturdy, quality product. Initially, I thought to myself "designer (colored) fishing gear?" But then recently I realized that little bit of color makes it easier to find the gripper (especially if you drop it in tall grass) and even helps to quickly tell who's is who when fishing with others.Good value for the money taking quality into consideration. Aluminum means it will last. Love the built in scale, but makes it hard to backup that fish story when you actually know how much the fish weighs (or, doesn't weigh). 5 Stars.

I'm waiting for spring to really kick into gear to give this a good test. But first impressions are it is decent quality. It's got a nice weight, build, and color. It's easy to find in the box and will be great for night fishing thanks to the bright color. So far, I think it's a good grab!

This fish gripper seems very solid. It’s simple to use…just pull back on the “trigger” to open the jaws. It should come in handy for our trips to the lake to hold the flopping fish.The scale is fairly accurate. I weighed a gallon of water which should weigh about 8.3 lb and it looked like it was a little less than 8 lb.All in all, a good, useful item for anyone who enjoys fishing.

This is a handy little gadget. My kids like it because they don't have to touch the fish, I like it for the scale. Made a from some pretty thick metal, it feels solid in the hand but is light. Has a nice wrist bungee so I don't drop it into the drink.Used it to pick up a couple known weight objectd and it was pretty dead on.

Had to wait to do a review until my husband could have time to use it. He was skeptical of it being useful when I first got it for him as a gift because he didn't think it was going to be helpful however said he was surprised by how well it actually worked. Said it's easy to use and he thinks when he is out with others (especially those who are uncomfortable working with fish) it will be a huge help. It's pretty small so it's easy to add to his set and in his stocking for Christmas. If you are looking for something for a guy who maybe hard to find small and inexpensive filler gifts this is a great option. Looks and functions just as intended.

My son picked this RXLUY Fish Lip Gripper with Scale for his dad for Father’s Day, but we decided to give it to him early since he's been eager to go fishing. He absolutely loves it! He said it's very nice and easy to use, and the built-in scale is a great feature. It makes catch and release much safer, and the 360° swivel non-slip handle ensures a secure grip. It’s definitely a durable, practical tool that will get a lot of use. Highly recommend this as a gift for any fisherman!
