My daughter rides a Honda PCX to school and I wanted people to have a little bit more visibility of her stopping so I purchased these and I have followed her on the bike a few times and they're nice and bright definitely know she's stopping

Installed one of these on my KLR650. At first it worked great, and seemed brighter than the stock filament bulb. I was quite pleased.But on the first ride after installing, one of my buddies said my brake light wasn't working right. When applying the brakes it would strobe then go bright, but after releasing the brake it would stay bright. If you tapped or had a sharp vibration it would sometimes go back dim again. I tried removing and reinstalling it to see if maybe it just wasn't seated right, but that didn't help. Basically it would get "stuck" in bright mode.I put the stock bulb back in and everything was fine.Took the bulb to my bench power supply to test it and had similar results there. I could see no difference between running light mode and brake mode other than it would strobe for a second when applying the brake side. I tried the second bulb with the bench supply to see if it worked correctly and got the same result. So one of them lasted a couple hours, the other was bad out of the box.Amazon returns here we come.

Theses brake lights are nice and bright, and very noticeable when you brake. Put them on the car the kids usually drive to test it out and hopefully make them more visible to other drivers. Worked so well I put them on all our vehicles.I have installed the 3157 on a 2003 Tundra and the 7443 on both a 2004 Subaru Impreza and a 2009 Subaru Outback. They all worked out of the box, and installation was easy and took about 5 minutes. If you don't know how to change your bulbs on your taillights, just search youtube, odds are there is a "how to" video there for your vehicle.I did note that the Tundra said it could use a 7443 or 3157, but only the 3157 worked (they both fit the bulb socket).
