This is thin, cheap material. I don't see how this would even serve the purpose of protecting the pool floor. We returned it and bought indoor/outdoor carpet instead.

I put my pool on concrete so this was a must. I highly recommend. I had no issues with having this liner to protect the pool bottom. It did have algae when broke down pool for year but kept because otherwise, in perfect shape still.

But it gets the job done. This is probably perfect for underneath a pool on sand or a patio. I was looking for something to go on the ground (soft dirt and stones that's been leveled) and it does the job, our pool has not developed leaks, but this is thinner than I thought it would be. I was not expecting see through light sweatshirt thickness at the price, I was expecting grow bag thickness.

After reading reviews on this item I decided to purchase it. This is my first time buying and setting up an above ground pool. I wanted to get all the supplies that were needed and someone mentioned this was essential. I was not sure if it was going to be large enough for my 12x30 pool. It was and it worked out good. I had filled the pool and walked around it to see if I could feel any rocks or sticks. I felt a rock under the liner and to my surprise it didn't feel as sharp as it would if I had not placed that felt liner down before the pool liner. It was thicker than I thought it would based on the comments of others. I will mention that I also put a tarp down before the 2 liners for the extra peace of mind. I am happy I made the purchase. This is essential for an above ground pool installation. You won't regret the purchase. (I was not paid anything for this review). This is the added protection needed to prolong the life of the pool liner.

It will not provide any cushion at all; I'm not sure why they included that in the product decription. It is basically very thin weed block material. I first laid an ultra heavy duty tarp on the area of the yard where I was setting up my 10' pool. Then I put down interlocking foam floor peices and duct taped the seams. Next, I laid this over the top of the foam tiles and set the pool up on top. The bottom of the pool is so soft under my feet and even on my knees. I highly recommend the foam tiles. This liner was just a little extra protection, but I feel it's overpriced. I think I could have done without it since I used an extra thick tarp.

I just put this down today as we recently bought an intel prism pool. I have the 12’ pad, but only a 10’ pool. It works fine, even has a little overlap which is good for the kids getting in and out.We have aggregate concrete in the yard, which means it has those textured pebbles on it. This is working great to create a padding for the bottom of the pool. I’ll have more info as we use it for a while.Laying it out was simple. Just unfold it and lay it down. There is a side that says to leave down on the ground. Let it smooth out in the sun and spray a little water on it to flatten it out. Then I built the pool on top.Of course I filled some holes and cracks with sand. So there were no voids under the pad. And I previously used my leaf blower and broom to get rid of any loose pebbles, sticks etc. It’s a simple process and I hope it works as good as I’ve heard.
