I used these four brackets and a wood shelf from Lowes to mount these old school JVC floor speakers. I just needed to get them off the floor to save space in a crowded office space. They are screwed into wall studs, and the brackets have holes to screw the shelf into the brackets. All necessary screws are included in the box. These speakers are somewhere between 30 and 40 pounds a piece and these brackets don't sag at all. Good purchase.

I think they're plenty strong, but when I press down on the shelf I mounted with them, there is about a half inch of play at the front of the shelf. I have them screwed directly to the stud and directly to the 1.5-inch shelf

These braces are massively sturdy and thick! These will be used in our butler pantry, so will be holding a lot of food products/weight and I'm not concerned AT ALL about how much weight they may be holding! To the manufacturer: Awesome job!
