This stuff is great. It utilizes the cholrine in your pool...so you have to chlorinated your pool with the formular that is given on the side. I could not get rid of my algae, thinking is was "green" alge until I used this stuff and cleared my pool in a couple of days. Inital dose is higher than the maintenance dose but once you continue to use this in your pool and keep the chlorine and PH in check you will never have algae problems again.

Gave this a 4 only because it hasn't completely eliminated my algae...BUT I have a huge above ground pool, the sun beats on it all day & it has been a rainy season, so algae has been a MAJOR issue. While it didn't completely eliminate all the algae, it CERTAINLY has greatly improved the situation . It has helped control what all the other algicides couldn't. No regrets.

Used this product for years to control algea build up in our pool. Add a little each week in the warmer months as "insurance"...along w/ chlorine...to lessen the chance of algea appearing. I'll buy this product again...
