They're fine, as notepads go, but they are definitely not legal size.

I love these mini pads. The colors are vibrant but not so dark it’s hard to see what you wrote on them. I use them as inserts to my mini Padfolio. If you like color coordinated organization these are for you. The price is right, the paper is a little thicker than an average pad of paper from the store so it tears cleanly with no shredding at the perforation.

The bonded border at top is not wide enough to secure at times peeling a page off. Compared to others it's only half as wide.

My computer monitor sits on a small plastic stationery box with two slots just the right size for holding these notepads. I love that I always have quick access to a piece of paper while working and I don’t have to steal a sheet from the printer. That these pads are colorful helps to add some flair to the desktop as well. I also like that they are not loose-leaf so that I can continue notes onto multiple pages and always be able to find them without scrounging through a stack of loose pages. The legal-pad design with lines helps to make my note-taking more legible and with the left-margin area, I can write a date or a time, or some other short note to identify the text to the right. I am finding these notepads an essential part of my desk!
