I ordered these thinking I'd get holders to fit over them and wouldn't have to worry about the candles catching anything near them on fire, and I really like the look of candles in glass. They seem to shine, sparkle and flicker so well.So I have no complaint about the lamps, great quality, the glass is a good thickness, both ends are smooth with no sharp edges.The thing is I'm having a hard time finding candle holders where the bottom will fit inside the lamps. Or that are flat and will hold the lamps so they don't vibrate or move.I will keep on looking. I'm sure I will find something and they will look beautiful. Just something to keep in mind when you're thinking about buying them. With no bottom you will need a holder. Maybe look before you get these. And if you find something really nice, let me know.I really like them and how well made they are and can't wait to use them. When I have some dedicated time I will find my holders and will have beautiful flames inside.

These hurricane glasses arrive well-packed for shipping that's for sure! They are all clean and sturdy feeling, a good thickness to them. The glass quality is good and there are no weird inconsistencies in their make or clarity. All edges are smooth and identical. As for what they work best with, I find they work best with candlestick holders that have a base that fits inside the 2.6" inch diameter and that with the candle is shorter than the height of the hurricane glass. If anything changes about my opinion on these, I will update this review.

Great for use with a tall pillar candle or with a candlestick and a taper candle. This keeps the flames contained and helps to increase the area the light extends to. They are made of a clear glass with no flaws and all equally the same size. I love the look!

This set of six glass cylinders are very sturdy. The glass is fairly thick and doesn't feel too fragile. They are cylinders, open at both ends, not vases. Be sure to check the measurements they are narrow and all the same size. They look great over a taper candle in a shorter candle holder. If the holder or the taper is too tall it will poke out the top. This is a well-made set and works great for my candles.

These are made from crystal clear glass that shines nicely without stealing the show from your candles. The glass feels nice and sturdy and the sizing is accurate to the description. The pieces came in protective packaging and arrived safe and sound. These made a perfect addition to our dining table centerpiece and are versatile enough to pair with any candle!

These hurricanes are made from sturdy, high quality glass that is clear and free from bubbles and imperfections. They are open at the top and bottom so they can be placed over candleholders/candlesticks of your choosing, which is nice because it gives me the flexibility to use them for different looks on different occasions. They are a beautiful way to display candles and reflect the candlelight while keeping the flame enclosed for safety.

Wow were these packaged well. Had a bit of a time getting them out of the foam packing. All arrived safely. These appear to be quite tall, but after putting them next to some other cylinders that I have they really are the same height. Just appear taller I guess because the cylinder diameter is smaller then the others. All of them were prestine when I unpacked them. Ready to go. Using 12" flameless candles in them. Fortunately I have a set of small size candle holders that fit inside the cylinder. They look really nice, sit level on my staircase. Very happy with them.

One of these cam broken inside the packaging, but besides that, these open-ended hurricane glasses are a fantastic addition to my wedding décor! The open design on both sides makes it easy to ensure candles or candlesticks sit perfectly without any hassle. They have a great height, pairing beautifully with 10-inch taper candles and shorter candlestick holders.
