Fitted to a husky 60 gallon compressor to help with the intake noise. Made a big difference surprisingly. Doesn't block airflow and compressor still pumps up at the same speed

Was dissatisfied that the extra “replacement filter” is not the same size as the one that came in the filter. It is way smaller which reduces the filter surface area and restricts airflow to the compressor.

Great product! Fabulous replacement for the original. Comes with an additional replacement filter and 1/2 in npt mounting adapter. Fit my Makita compressor perfectly.

Well designed and came with spare filter element. Definitely a good deal. Exactly what I wanted for my husky hot dog compressor. After initial use i felt a couple small holes on the side might add some cfm for my bigger air tools so i drilled 2 -3/8" holes on the side. No change in sound level and add some intake volume. Also i was able to reverse the lid, like we did on old chevy's to add some air and with the nice gasket in the filter it seals perfectly after tightening the wing nut. Im pleased and can recommend this item without reserbations to anyone needing to replace small filter assembly.

This definitely reduced the intake noise of the husky pro oil lubed compressor. I added a short 2’ piece of liquid tight flexible metal conduit to the port and pointed it towards the ground. This further reduced the noise to the point where I don’t think I hear the intake anymore. I can carry on a normal conversation about 10’ away from the compressor while it’s running. I recommend

My poor defenseless CH compressor gets lots of abuse. I couldn't get filter elements easily for the original air cleaner housing, and it got a dent that kept it from sealing right anyway. This was half the cost of an element replacement. Had to stick it on a longer nipple because of a clearance issue, but $4 worth of brass nipple solved that.This one reminds me of the air filter housing on my '61 Plymouth with push-button automatic and rectangular steering wheel. Works great, even if it looks funny. And the elements are available, inexpensive and work great. Good product.

There really isn't anything wrong with this filter, it seems to seal well, and is easy to put on. My problem may have more to do with me putting it on a higher CFM compressor that it was designed for.I put it on my compressor which had a dirty filter. I couldn't find a filter the size I had, so I replaced the whole unit. Didn't pump a bit faster, in fact it seemed to take a little longer to fill.To cure the problem I got a high flow filter and housing, and it pumps up notably faster now.This one does a good job silencing the pump, and seems to seal well, just not the flow I required.
