This is a game changer for my camper hot water heater. I would typically remove the cheap plastic plug each time we finished using the camper. With this, it's as simple as turning the knob.

This is a perfect solution for our rv hot water tank. Getting a tool in the small space to drain the tank was almost impossible. I replaced the drain plug with this and now all I have to do is open the valve and it will drain. No tools required. It even points to water out of the area, which keeps the electrical parts dry. It works great and fits snug.

Replaced the plastic plug with this ball valve in my travel trailer. I am able to drain my heater after every trip and not worry about the tank having issues. It is a bit long and the gas line is very close. I just put some tension on the gas line to move the valve lever when needed. When I installed the valve, I removed the lever as others have mentioned in their reviews.

This works great for draining my water heater a snap. Be sure to let the water cool prior to drain if to avoid a burn injury. Turn the valve. That’s it. No messing with a tool to remove the plug.

Description of the valve is very accurate. I appreciate the installation instructions. I installed the valve in a couple minutes with an end wrench. Only thing I would say is if you're concerned about tank corrosion, this replaces the anode rod. However, this valve makes draining the tank very simple and easy without tools. So drain the tank every few days and you probably won't have corrosion or sediment. Draining and winterizing is a breeze. Thank you!

This did not work in our Grand design MLS 22; too bulky. I do use it as a waterline stopper at the city water inlet though and it's great for that. Very sturdy and smooth.
