I have an older collector car that I use for fun and the occasional road trip. Needless to say it was built well before the advent of USB so I've had to retrofit it with the ability to charge my phone. I could of course simply put a USB adapter in the cigarette lighter socket, but on this car that socket is tucked away in a retractable ashtray which, when open, blocks access to a little storage tray. For that reason I chose instead to install this outlet.Installation was fairly simple given I had access to wiring in close proximity. Flush mounting was critical in my case since there is very little clearance behind the area I wanted to mount it. The outlet mounts with two screws through the front and includes a face plate for a nice clean appearance. The ports are lit with a blue light, matching the colors on the stereo unit just above it. It also has a door to cover the ports when not in use.As for functionality: it includes two USB-A QC3.0 18W port and a USB-C PD 36W ports. Both are fast charging technologies if your particular device supports it but also backward compatible with legacy USB devices. All in all a nice, practical, modern addition to an old car.

This is a USB charger outlet to install in an RV. I got this to help double the USB stations in my small RV. This is ideal for a bedside or dinette side charging station. It has a small voltage meter and USB plugin. It only needs to be added on to the AC power supply for the RV.It should be quite easy and functional simply flip up small panel to read the amperage and to plug in your device. Although I am not comfortable working with electronics myself, so I am having to wait for my installer to come in and do it for me.

My RV has USB plugs built in, but they are only USB-A. Well, now everything is coming with USB-C cables. This is a quick and easy update to give you a USB-C option while keeping the USB-A as well. It assembles into a nicely finished appearance. Includes screws but not connectors. It’s for a 12V circuit, so automotive crimp connectors will work fine.

It works okay, the wires are so dang short and tiny I'm not sure I want to use it. I'll have to get much longer wires to tie into in order wire it up to the bike.

I got this to add some USB 12v ports to my trailer and it was perfect. I can mount it the wall and wire it straight in to the circuit. If you are looking for some additional USB space with a voltage reading, you found your piece!

This is a great little device for any RV or camper mod. With some added wire you can connect this directly to your RV battery for a direct reading on power that you have. Pretty critical when you need to make sure you dont drop below a certain level in order to preserve the life of your batteries.Overall very useful to have. Get this along with 50feet or so of black and red wire to really get it where you want.
