The orange covers on the ends of the power supply are intended to cover the AC input wiring on one side and the DC output wiring on the other. The mounting screws for whatever surface you intend to mount to will also be under these orange covers. The covers are held in place by opposing sawtooth detents that engage as the covers are pressed on. A large flat-bladed screwdriver must be used to pry the covers off to expose the wiring terminals and mounting screws.I mounted the power supply in a kitchen cabinet over the countertops. Lengthwise, it fit very nicely front-to-rear above the topmost shelf. After making the wiring connections and screwing the power supply to the wall of the cabinet, if I had installed the orange covers over the ends it would have become IMPOSSIBLE to remove the covers to expose the wiring connections and the mounting screws if it ever became necessary. I modified the orange covers by drilling holes large enough for a #2 Phillips screwdriver to reach the cabinet mounting screws and Dremel’d the sawtooth detents away but the interference fit of the covers still required a large screwdriver to pry off the covers.Beware of where you intend to mount the power supply, think ahead about whether you’ll be able to remove the supply if it ever becomes necessary.

I needed to control 120 feet of 12 Volt LED strip lighting using the existing Control4 light dimmers in my home theater. I used three of the120 Watt thyristor controlled power supplies and they worked perfectly. Saved me from having to switch to a different control system. Once I proved they would work on the bench the actual install was a piece of cake.
